Lucia Del Sanchez is an artist and designer based in Miami, FL. Of Cuban and Slovenian decent, Sanchez tells her story with a textural mimicry in sculpture, painting, and photography. Manifesting observations of South Florida and other peculiar and beautiful spaces, she creates multimedia artwork that questions authenticity and breaks from the historical narrative. Doing so with an ear to tourism, ecology and visual culture, her practice is a reflection of its surroundings
